    November 10th 2018

     

    Tour de Trachyte Duathlon, MTB/Trail Run Challenge - November 10th
    The event will consist of MTB and running legs, along with teams, solo and 'run it all' options

    December 16th 2018

     

     

    Round 1 of the 2018/2019 AAA Racing Hill Climb Challenge will take place at Wild Horse Mountain and will run from 6:00 pm, December 15th until 9:00 am, December 16th.

    The shortest climb of the three rounds is not to be underestimated with approximately 95 metres of ascent and descent and a round trip of 1.4 km, it will pack a punch (that's 6:300 metres over 100 km if you like stats!).

    The primary event will be run over 12 hours with options to start at 6:00 pm or 9:00 pm. it will be supported by 6 hour options (6:00 pm or 3:00 am) and a 3 hour option (3:00 am Sunday).

     

    Hydration, electrolyte and fuel provided by Hammer Nutrition, as well as sandwiches, savouries and treats at the foot of the climb with hydration and electrolyte at the top.

      January 19th 2019

       

       

        The Harlin Duathlon
        Starting at Out There Cycles, south of Harlin, north of Esk, this event offers the opportunity to ride and run through some of the stunning scenery on the BVRT with a total of approximately 84.5 km, made up of 36.5 km running over two separate legs and nearly 50 km of cycling, again over two legs.

         

        Participants can take part individually or as part of a team. More details to come soon.

       


    January 26th 2019 - Australia Day

     

     

    Round 2 of the 2018/2019 AAA Racing Hill Climb Challenge will take place at Dayboro and will run from 6:00 pm, January 26th until 9:00 am, January 27th.

     

    The stiffest climb of the three rounds is undertaken through natural bush with approximately 223 metres of ascent and descent and a round trip of 2.7 km (that's a touch over 8,200 metres over 100 km for the statisticians among you!).

    The primary event will be run over 12 hours with options to start at 6:00 pm or 9:00 pm. it will be supported by 6 hour options (6:00 pm or 3:00 am) and a 3 hour option (3:00 am Sunday).

    The 10th running of the Wild Horse Criterium

     

      The Wild Horse Criterium - Wild Horse Mountain, Glasshouse Mountains
      Come and join us for the 10th running of the Wild Horse Criterium. There'll be lots going on to celebrate what has become a local favourite and everyone's place to go for a run over Easter!

      Events of 11km, 22km, 33km, 55km along with 6 hour and 12 hour events. There will also be a free of charge children's event of up to 3km.

       

      2018 saw the inagural 12 hour event replace the previous 50 mile event. The 2019 BVRT100 will take place over the weekend of June 22nd/23rd
2019 will be the inaugural 'down year' with runs of 200 miles, 100 miles, 50 miles and Marathon - starting from the Heritage Museum at Yarraman (100 Miles), Toogoolawah (50 miles) and Coominya (Marathon). All three finish at Ipswich Grammar School Playing Fields ... 2018 details here
